Happy America Day

Good Morning Y'all!

Today will be a quick message.

A message driven by hope.

We are at a unique inflection point in our country's history.

Nearly 250 years since our inception, we're facing great division.

As a country, we've been through much worse...

We had a Civil War a few hundred years back.

But the division we face today feels much different.

The far majority of our division has been manufactured.

It has been artificially created to divide us.

I'll go more in-depth on how and why this was created in a different edition of The Love Letter...

but for now, it's best to focus on the solution, rather than the root of the problem.

The next generation of Americans,

the ones that will not only save but evolve this country,

will adopt a mindset which we have never seen before.

The mindset is one of "Radical Unification".

Radical Unification is a state of being one may adopt to reunite their family, community, and country.

A Radical Unifier is someone who…

Values the Truth and Fairness,

Celebrates those doing well,

Helps those in need,

Chooses to love their neighbor despite their differences,

Seeks to understand others, no matter if they personally feel understood,

Operates purely from a place of powerful love, as opposed to forceful hate,

Reaches their hand to those on the other side of the aisle,

Sees today's problems as opportunities for a better tomorrow,

Speaks, through their actions, not just their words.

Radical Unifiers are unapologetically themselves.

The real revolution we’re searching for happens within.

It starts by loving ourselves and each other more.

It's the only way we will create a better tomorrow.

I trust that this will happen,

and we will create a version of the United States in which we are all proud to call ourselves Americans.
